Would it be a crime to mention Zara and Mango in the same sentence?  I think not!  Because, you see, my love for Zara will never fade and I'm glad I can happily say the same for Mango too.  Which is why I can mention them in the same post if I want to.

I've always got my eye on something or other and this week, I've been checking out what's new in Mango ever since the email landed in my inbox.

I was actually mistaken into thinking that this look was in fact a dress but it's a two piece.  A skirt and a blouse in the same print.  If you asked me to wear a co-ord a few years ago, I would have said "No way!", but ask me again and I'll be saying the complete opposite.

There's not much you can fit into a mini bag so they're quite pointless, you could say.  But mini bags are big, this season.  I don't know about you but I hate filling my pockets until they're full, so if you're popping out for a while and don't need to carry everything with you then this bag is perfect for your keys and some spare change.

The trench coat is never going to go out of fashion.  It's here to stay and although they're available in lots of colours and prints too, I think this classic camel coloured trench is a timeless piece for every wardrobe.

Pleated skirts are another one of those pieces I'm forever setting my eyes on year after year.  Coloured, pattered, textured, you name it, I've seen it.  This time, this grey pleated midi skirt caught my eye and I couldn't resist the urge to add it to my wishlist.  It's the perfect length and will be great piece to style in so many ways and that's what we like.

These textured rings add a new dynamic to the usual polished trinkets.  They just create a new kind of drama I'm keen to try for myself.  I love the rough edges and the untidy look to them but at the same time they do have that expensive, luxury element to them as well.

I'm all for black bags and this one certainly caught my eye.  I like that it's not too big and not too small either.  It's somewhere in between and the round puff design gives it a hint of those casual vibes and the gold hardware adds that elegant touch.  I should point out that this chain puffed bag also has a chain strap (obvs, the name says it all!) so if you want to see more make sure to head over to Mango before it's too late.

Another favourite for this time of year is the chunky knit, and this gorgeous cosy camel coloured one is the chunky knit of all chunky knits.  What do you say?  It's like a big warm hug and would make the perfect pairing with trousers, skirts, or even jeans.

In case you didn't know, this years Pantone Colour of the Year is blue.  They call it Classic Blue.  So if you want to get in on the trend, this dress is the perfect hue.  If I had to style it, I would add a jewelled belt just to bring out the richness of this colour, especially if I was dressing up.  This dress is so elegant with the beautiful neckline, long sleeves and the delicate floaty skirt just gives it a lovely silhouette.

I have a love/hate relationship with metallic dresses and so I was quite surprised that I took a liking for this one.  I think it could be because it's not too bright and has those darker, more muted tones which I'm much more drawn to than the brighter colours.  I quite like the wrap around style too.  So it's safe to say this dress, in all it's metallic glory, actually ticks a lot of boxes for me.

A great cover up for 2020 is the cape.  I don't think I could ever pull off a short cape so if this was in a longer length, I'd have snapped it up already.  This shorter version is great for dressing up or down and in all honestly I would never have thought to dress it down.  But as you can see, it's quite possible and looks amazing too.

You know me and my love for the humble midi dress will never die so here's another one that's on my wishlist.  Great for everyday wear and the floral print isn't too daring either.  A firm favourite with me.

Finally, when I spotted this dress, I could not help but swoon over it.  The delicate details on the neckline add that feminine touch this dress deserves and the sleeves are just stunning.  Everything about this dress is flawless and in my opinion, not juts perfect for Summer, but Winter too.  I know exactly how to dress down a fancy dress for a not so fancy day and I can already see how I would style this gorgeous floral piece.

Which one is your favourite?
