In my opinion, capsule wardrobes are the best way to make the most of your money and who doesn't want to do that? You'd be a fool to think it would never work but just take a look at any capsule and you'll see that it most certainly does.....everytime, without fail.

You can really tailor your capsule wardrobe to your own needs and style and for the different seasons too.  And what's more, if you pick great transitional pieces that work well throughout all seasons, like the trench coat for example, then you'll be guaranteed to get your wardrobe looking sharp without making a huge dent in your wallet.  Creating a capsule wardrobe also gives you the opportunity to invest in those classic designer pieces you've had on your wishlist since forever.

And just in case you needed convincing even more, then you should take a look at my Modest Autumn Capsule Wardrobe post and my How To Create an All Black Capsule Wardrobe video to help you get inspired.

Here's my casual chic capsule wardrobe that was inspired by the image you see at the top.  It's a look that really elevates the hoodie, incorporates this seasons must have forever coat, the trench, and of course, biker boots, as well as a designer shoe that totally adds the chic to your everyday casual.

With just 10 pieces, some you probably already own, I have put together 16 outfits.  But I'm sure you could make more and if I did then this post would be way too long.

I had so much fun putting this together and with just 10 pieces you can create so many outfits for lots of different occasions.  It all started with the hoodie and boyfriends jeans and of course the trench coat.  I picked out a few more essentials and on trend pieces, like the biker boots and anything that fitted the casual style.

Of course, I had to have one piece that was just enough to add the more dressier look, but could also be dressed down too and the Dior slingbacks are perfect for doing just that.  A printed T-shirt felt just right, as it means that you can wear it on it's own with the skirt or jeans or under the slip dress.  I feel like it just brings that mysterious edge to your look when worn like that, but of course a plain t-shirt works just as well if that's more your vibe.

I hope you found this post helpful and if you did let me know in the comments below.  What look would you put together with these 10 pieces?
