Modest Autumn Capsule Wardrobe

So, here's a post I've been meaning to write up for a long time but the thought of putting together a capsule wardrobe felt like a huge challenge.  Firstly, I wasn't too sure where to start, so it wasn't until I asked for a few ideas on Instagram that someone suggested I do a Modest Capsule Wardrobe that it was just the push I needed to eventually give it a go.  And I'm very pleased with the result.

I had a look on Pinterest for inspiration and came across a few capsule wardrobes but nothing really appealed to me.  Although they looked stunning, there was just something missing in terms of either colour, style or just as simple as, it wasn't me.

I decided to split my capsule wardrobe into season, colours, and clothing.  Just knowing that I was creating a modest Autumn capsule wardrobe meant that I could narrow down the list of colours and clothing.  I decided to go for a warm colour palette with some cooler tones too.  Nudes, caramels, creams, and grey and black were the colours I chose.  This made it easier to choose the clothing.  Again I split the clothing up into categories and opted for a mixture of lightweight fabrics as well as chunkier knits for layering.  And of course I added this seasons hottest trend; animal print, and here's what I came up with.

TOPS Round Neck Sweater / Blouse with Tasselled Strings / Black Cotton T-Shirt / Grey Message T-Shirt / Varsity Stripe Sweater / Oversized Ballon Sleeve Knit / Tie-Collar Shirt DRESSES Grey Jersey Dress / Ecru Button Dress / Black Dress / Pleated Toffee Dress / Tailored Jumpsuit BOTTOMS Wide Trousers / Check Trousers / Sidney Jeans / Leggings / Snakeskin Pleated Skirt / Midi Skirt OUTERWEAR Caramel Coat / Blazer / Trench / Long Cardigan FOOTWEAR Ankle Boots / Two Tone Flats / Stan Smith AdidasPointed Toe HeelsBlock Heel Slingbacks ACCESSORIES  Snakeskin Bag / Pebbled Shopper / Plain Jane Loves Cotton Wool Hijabs; Grey-T, Almond Butter, Just Black, Au-Naturel / Daniel Wellington Classic Melrose / Monica Vinader Signature Bangle / Round Chain Earrings / Kate Spade Pearl Drop Studs / Double Buckle Belt

Whilst I was putting together a few outfits, I quickly realised that there were way too many possibilities than I had first anticipated.  But that's a good thing, right?  You'll certainly get more for your money and you can even use some of these pieces for Winter and Summer too!  So, here's 20 outfits, yup that's 20, not a typo I promise you.  I could have made plenty more but then this post would be never ending so I'll leave it to you to get creative!
