I thought I'd share my mums Popcorn Chicken Bhajiya recipe with you today.  You've probably tried the onion bhajis and if you like them, then you'll love these even more.  I personally don't like onions, which is why this version is my favourite.  Seriously tho, once you start you won't be able to stop!

Popcorn Chicken Bhajiya


2 slices of Bread
+/- 500g Chicken Fillet/Mince
2 Eggs
½ cup Milk (125ml)
1 grated/finely chopped Onion
1 tsp White Pepper
1tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Aromat
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Green Chillies (crushed)
5 tsp Baking Powder
Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves 


 In a food processor, blend the bread to crumbs and remove to a dish.

Thenk blend the chicken together with all the ingredients except the baking powder.
Add in the baking powder before deep frying.

Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into heated oil and fry on a medium heat.

Using a slotted spoon, remove from the oil when golden in colour and cooked through.
